Cancellation Policy

At Exploring Andaman, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while aligning with the policies of hotels, ferry operators, and other service providers.

1. Cancellation Request Procedure

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels of Exploring Andaman. Verbal or informal cancellation requests will not be considered valid. The date of receipt of the written request will be treated as the official cancellation date.

2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges vary depending on the type of services booked, travel dates, seasonality, and individual service provider policies. The applicable charges will be communicated at the time of booking or cancellation.

3. Hotel & Ferry Cancellation Policy

Hotels, ferries, and activity providers follow their own cancellation policies, which may be stricter during peak season or long weekends. Exploring Andaman is bound by these third-party policies and cannot override them.

4. Refund Process

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting cancellation charges, service fees, and transaction costs. Refunds are initiated only after confirmation from service providers and typically take 7–14 working days to reflect in the original payment method.

5. Amendments Instead of Cancellation

In some cases, date changes or itinerary modifications may be allowed instead of cancellation, subject to availability and additional charges. This option is entirely dependent on hotel and ferry operator policies.

6. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services such as peak-season bookings, promotional packages, special offers, and last-minute bookings may be strictly non-refundable. Such conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

7. Force Majeure

Exploring Andaman shall not be liable for refunds or compensation in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural calamities, adverse weather conditions, government restrictions, ferry cancellations, strikes, or any event beyond our control.

8. No-Show Policy

Failure to report for a scheduled tour, hotel check-in, ferry boarding, or any booked service without prior notice will be treated as a no-show. No refunds will be applicable in such cases.

9. Exploring Andaman’s Discretion

Exploring Andaman reserves the right to review cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis. Any exception to the standard cancellation policy will be at the sole discretion of the company and subject to supplier approvals.
